Indian Administrative service officials of Andhrapradesh are now in the firing range of Central Bureau Of Investigation.Cases of different Scams in state are being unearthed and are investigated closely.In majority of cases the involvement of Political leaders is being assessed.
But during this discourse IAS officials serving in different government departments also landed in jail.Some of them are arrested and are in CBI custody.The first such 'victim' is S.Y. lakshmi.Like that many IAS officials came into the picture.But recently BP Acharya is also arrested.He was Principal Secretary to Home Department.He was arrested, quizzed and then produced in court.
BP Acharya is the No.1 accused in the EMAAR scam. But sudden after Acharya's arrest the other IAS officials of state came into the agitation mode. They allege CBI of only targeting IAS officials which is causing to damage the morale of Administrative Officials. The IAS officials met Chief Minister Kiran kuman and said that they are 'abide' by the 'process' of law.At the same time they also told that IAS officials are 'duty bound'.In other words the Administrative officials tried to say that they are innocent. But can we consider them as 'Innocent Administrative Servants'.We cannot.
Because when such scams were going on or were being planned why they kept mum.They should have raised concern and should inform the concerned authorities. Where were they?They were enjoying the posts bestowed upon them for their 'good service'.Were not they?As many as four or five IAS officials are on the radar of CBI now.But many IAS officials are being questioned and 'harassed'. It is impossible for a political leader to indulge in any scam without the help of Such officials.I feel that they are also a part of corruption.In fact they are a sizable majority in scams.Former Administrative officer and president of Lok satta jay prakash Narayan also said that the arrested officials know the facts and figures of scams, in which they are now arrested.But these 'public servants' are claiming that they are 'Innocent'.....
But at the same time the way of investigation of CBI raised doubts over its work.CBI only targeting the opponents of Congress party in the state.Interestingly the congress leader Shankar rao petitioned against all the accused.So the time and the style of investigation cannot be called transparent.
